What is the Black Owned Enterprises Directory?
The Black Owned Enterprises Directory is an online platform designed to spotlight and support Black-owned businesses by providing a centralized place for users to discover, connect with, and support these businesses across various industries.
Is the directory only for Black-owned businesses?
Yes, our focus is on promoting Black-owned businesses. However, everyone is welcome to use the directory to find and support these enterprises.
Are the businesses listed in the directory vetted?
At this time, businesses listed in the directory are not formally vetted. Our goal is to provide a space where Black-owned businesses can gain visibility and where community members can discover and connect with them easily. We recommend reaching out directly to the business to ask questions, request references, or view past work to ensure it’s the right fit for your needs.
How do I add my business to the directory?
To list your business, just fill out the Business Sign-Up Form located in the footer of our website. Once you’ve submitted your information, our team will review your application for approval.
Is there a cost to be listed?
We offer both free and premium (coming soon) listing options. Free listings include basic business details, while premium listings offer added visibility and features such as photos, social links, and highlighted placement.
How long does it take for my listing to be approved?
Listings are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your listing is live.
I'm registering my business, but I don't see a category that fits
Please complete the registration form and include a suggested category that best describes your business. Our team will review it and may add a new category if necessary.
Can I update my business information after it's published?
Yes, you can. To make changes, please reach out to our support team using the Contact Us form. We’re happy to help with any updates you need.
I clicked on a category, but nothing happened.
If nothing happens when you select a category, it means there are no businesses currently offering services in that category.
Can I leave reviews for businesses I’ve interacted with?
Review features are coming soon! Stay tuned—we’re working on making it easy for you to share your experiences to help others make informed decisions.
I noticed incorrect information in a listing. What should I do?
